Finite element methods in heat transfer

Description

The application of the finite element method to problems in conduction and convection heat transfer is described. The formulation of the basic equations is presented and typical solution algorithms for both transient and steady-state problems are described. Example analyses are included for problems in heat conduction, forced convection and free convection
