Specific features of low-temperature luminescence of cadmium tungstate single crystals

Description
Complex investigations of spectral-luminescent characteristics of CdWO4 crystals under the constant and pulsed photoexcitation in the temperature interval from 4.2 to 300 K and for different excitation wavelengths in the range of 260-360 nm are carried out. There are three types of the luminescence bands at low temperature: 'blue-green' or 'main' band), 'yellow' and 'red'. The intensity ratio of these bands depends on the type and concentration of impurities, temperature and the excitation wavelength
