Parity violation in nuclei
Description
An introduction is given to the current view of nuclear parity vilation (PV). The two-nucleon system is discussed, followed by a presentation of parity-violating hadronic neutral current interaction. Theoretical consideration include recent advances with references to Desplanques, Donohue and Holstein (DDH) and Haxton, Gibson and Henley, as well as Brown, Richter and Godwin. Conclusions are introduced graphically by charting the parity violation in nuclei and results, each with references. Nuclear parity violation seems to be rapidly approaching an interesting and useful synthesis
