Hot-pressed ceramics of ultradispersed composite powders

Description
Consideration is given to regularities of change of microstructure, phase composition, crystallinity degree and properties of hot-pressed ceramics, depending on the ratio of β and α phases of Si3N4 and Y2O3 content in ultradispersed composite powders in Si3N4-Y2O3 system. Increase of Y2O3 content in composite powders up to 15-18 % and decrease of β-Si3N4/α-Si3N4 phase ratio lead to change of composition of secondary crystal phases with growth of their refractoriness, to reduction of glass-phase content, increase of crystallinity degree and content of enlarged grains in ceramics structure
