Method for determination of resonance gamma-quanta polarization degree
Description
To determine polarization degree of resonance γ-quanta, produced when non-polarized radiation from 57Co Moessbauer source transmits through 57Fe polarizer, the method in which no polarization analyzer is used has been suggested. In conventional scheme of measurement the polarization analyzer is the main source of errors. According to the method presented polarization degree is determined by the number of resonance γ-quanta escaping from the source and the number of resonance γ-quanta absorbed in the foil-polarizer
