Positron annihilation in nickel powders

Description
Electron-positron annihilation has been investigated in samples pressed of nickel powder. The annihilation parameter is shown to increase with the pressure of pressing and decrease with the subsequent annealing. The results obtained are analysed using the model which takes into the interaction of positrons with defects of crystal structure of grains of powder and with surface states of pores
