Determination of top quark mass at JLC

Description

According to the recent study, the top quark mass is predicted to be in the range between the mass of W boson and 200 GeV. Since the top quark in this mass range can decay directly into a real W boson and a b quark, the toponium resonance may not be observed when produced in JLC. The methods to determine the top quark mass without using the resonance peak were studied in this article. (author)
