Meson-mass generation by instantons, 2
Description
In a previous work we discussed how pseudo-scalar mesons and scalar mesons acquire their masses by instantons in the colored gauge field. We considered there the two-flavor model with chiral U(2) x U(2) symmetry. In the present paper the same problem is discussed, including the chiral flavor U(3) x U(3) symmetry. An importance of non-local effects due to instantons is emphasized. (author)
