Description

Flocculation sedimentation test was carried out on the coal slurry of the selected coal preparation plant. A mathematical correlation model of initial settling velocity, upper clarification turbidity and sediment volume with various influencing factors was established. The results show that: the initial settling velocity increases first and then decreases with the increase of flocculant concentration; when the flocculant concentration is 10g/m3, the initial settling velocity is the largest; the initial settling velocity increases with the increase of the mass ratio of coagulant and flocculant. The upper clarification turbidity decreases first and then increases with the increase of the flocculant concentration; when the flocculant concentration is 10g/m3, the supernatant has the lowest turbidity; the upper clarification turbidity decreases with the increase of the mass ratio of coagulant and flocculant. The volume of sediment increases with the increase of flocculant concentration, and increases with the increase of mass ratio of coagulant and flocculant. (paper)
