Distribution of certain trace metals in skin of normal Egyptian humans

Description

Fe, Ni, Zn, Pb and Cd concentrations in normal skin samples obtained from different topographical areas of the human body, have been determined by using X-ray fluorescence and atomic absorption spectroscopy. The concentration levels of different metals in skin samples as well as in skin pieces from symmetrical areas of the body were assessed and evaluated. The data obtained has been statistically analysed and discussed in view of the relevant literature
