Project research on irradiation effects in various materials irradiated by neutrons at low temperature region. 1. Introduction
Description
The objectives of this project research are to investigate effects of the reactor neutron irradiation under controlled temperature between 15K and 300K on various materials. The neutron irradiation experiment was performed using the low temperature irradiation loop facility set up in the E-4 experimental hole of Kyoto University Reactor (KUR-LTL). The temperature of samples during neutron irradiation was controlled within ±4K by adjusting the flow rate of helium gas and the current of heater near the samples. (author)
