Effect of refined nuclear data for 238U and 239Pu on calculated characteristics of test fast reactors

Description

The effect of neutron constant estimate refinement for sup(238)U and sup(239)Pu, performed for the BNAB-78 nuclear data library, on calculation results of the basic physical characteris cs tiof a fast reactor is investigated. Calculations are carried out for the R-Z test model of a fast reactor. Data revision for sup(238)U and sup(239)U in the unresolved region is shown to lead to changing the effective neutron multiplication coefficient value by 0.9%. The reactor breeding parameters don't actually change. The reactivity effects in case of sodium removal increase by approximately 20%
