The space structure of confining strings in SU(2) lattice gauge theory
Description
The energy density of the chromoelectric field generated by the static qanti q pair is computed in the SU(2) lattice gauge theory. The energy density in the central region of the Wilson loop shows significant deviations from the Coulomb behaviour and approaches the constant value at Rsub(anti q) = 0.8-1.1 fm. (orig.)
