Radionuclide contamination protection of water reservoirs and underground water

Sources of radioactive contamination of water reservoirs are enumerated, nuclear power engineering enterprises being the most considerable ones. Measures, directed to prevention of water reservoir contamination, are considered. They are as follows: the maximum decrease in liquid wastes quantity, containing radioactive substances; minimization of the quantity of liquid radioactive wastes, subjected to water reservoir disposal thorough treatment and decontamination of liquid radioactive wastes.
