Description
This paper discusses the various nuclear analytical techniques now available at the Centre for Energy Research and Training. These include the Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and the colorimetric technique. The paper also reveals the potential users of these facilities abroad. The paper concludes by giving the cost of such services at CERT, which is less than 50% of what similar services cost in the foreign laboratories in Europe and North America. The Centre therefore seeks for patronage from users both in the Government and private sections of the national economy
