Industry and PCBs: Volume 3--New options for Canadian PCB owners
Description
Presentations made at various industry forums across Canada on the subject of PCBs were summarized. The forums were organized to inform PCB owners about provincial electric utility PCB programs, compliance rules under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, recent developments in PCB reduction technologies, transportation by rail requirements, and details of the option of transporting to and disposing of PCB wastes at the Alberta Special Waste Treatment Centre. Recent changes to federal regulations were addressed. The cost of treatment and transportation to the Treatment Center, were also reviewed
