Processing of fission fragment amplitude distributions

Presented are the results of processing amplitude distributions of 252Cf spontaneous fission fragments stopped and unstopped in the air. The processing was performed by the MINSK-32 computer using two special programs. While studying shapes of the energy distributions of stopped fragments, the method of f-f coincidences has been used. A typical amplitude distribution is shown along with results of its processing. Values of the Schmidt parameters of this distribution calculated by the both programs are given. Some disagreement is observed. The calculation of mean values of amplitude distributions of stopped fragments has shown that the both programs give practically coinciding results
