Photoelectron and fluorescence radiation yields in X-ray diffraction in fluorite crystals

Description
The method of standing X-ray waves is used for the first time to study pre-surface layers of BaF2 and CaF2 monocrystals. Investigation results testify to quite a high structural perfection of these crystals. A conclusion is drawn that the thickness of possible destroyed layers on the surface of BaF2 and CaF2 samples do not exceed 50 and 200 A respectively
