Description
It may be concluded that the present study is useful to understand the dual effect of PZ against radiation damage. It suggests that their modulatory effect can depend on microchemical environment. Perhaps, it is possible to exploit the pathophysiological difference in tumor cells for their differential killing. In the future it is possible that the hypoxic conditions in tumours may not be considered as a limitation for the radiation therapy. 24 refs., 3 figs., 3 tabs
