Passive method of graphite temperature reactivity coefficient determination for RBMK reactor
Description
One dwells upon a procedure enabling to determine simultaneously αC graphite reactivity temperature coefficient and the effect of xenon poisoning. The mentioned procedure requires no special experiment to be performed and may be used at reactor any power. The mentioned αC coefficient derived on the basis of the analysis of the true transition process data is in line with the STEPAN Program base one
Abstract (Russian)
Рассматривается метод, позволяющий одновременно определить температурный коэффициент реактивности графита αC и эффект ксенонового отравления. Указанный метод не требует проведения специального эксперимента и может быть применен на любой мощности реактора. Коэффициент αC, полученный из анализа данных фактического переходного процесса, согласуется с расчетным, полученным по программе STEPANAdditional details
