Flight range spectrometer for multicharged ions

Description
In order to study acceleration of swarms of multicharged ions in a high-current electron beam a spectrometer of multi-charged ions is designed where ion energy is accounted for by a 30 cm base transit time and the charge state, by a path in a packet of absorbing foils. Time resolution of the spectrometer is 3 nsec, energy resolution is 30% on 20 mev level (recalculated for nitrogen ions)
