The industrial activities of Cogema group

This article presents the state of the Cogema's industrial activities in 1999. The French nuclear industry is being reorganized and Cogema has become the reference shareholder of Framatome by detaining 34% of its capital. Among the other external growth operations of Cogema, we find a share-taking of 22.6% in Eramet (mining and rare metals: nickel, manganese and special steels), of 50% in Uranerz Exploration and Mining, and the purchase (in a collaboration with EDF) of the Clemessy Group (maintenance)
