Kinetic aspects of decomposition of aluminosilicate ores by mineral acids

  • 1. V.I. Nikitin Institute of Chemistry, National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Dushanbe (Tajikistan)

Description

The article studies the kinetic aspects of decomposition of mud stones and kaolin clays by mineral acids. The kinetics of decomposition of mud stones of the Chashma-Sang Deposit by means of hydrochloric, sulfuric, nitric and orthophosphoric acids, and also the kinetics of decomposition of kaolin and green clays by means of nitric and hydrochloric acids have been studied. It has been defined that during the decomposition of mud stones with nitric acid, the process proceeds in the kinetic region. In other cases, the process proceeds in diffusion or mixed regions.
