The solid-state interaction of organometallic aldehydes with 1,8-naphthylenediamine

Description
The solid-state interaction between equimolar mixture of ruthenocenecarbaldehyde and 1,8-naphthylenediamine was studied by 1NMR at room temperature. It is found that colourless crystals of 2-ruthenocenyl-2,3-dihydroperimidine, its melting point is 203-204 Deg C, form with a chemical reaction yield of 87 % upon holding the reaction mixture for 16 days under above mentioned conditions
Abstract (Russian)
Методом ЯМР 1Н изучено твердофазное взаимодействие рутеноценкарбальдегида с 1,8-нафтилендиамином при комнатной температуре и эквимолярном соотношении реагентов. Установлено, что при выдерживании реакционной смеси в указанных выше условиях в течение 16 суток с выходом 87 % образуются бесцветные кристаллы 2-рутеноценил-2,3-дигидроперимидина, имеющего температуру плавления 203-204 град СAdditional details
