Radiothermoluminescence of polyamides in the range of 77-450 K

Description
Radiothermoluminescence (RTL) of polyamides, irradiated by γ-rays at 77 K, is studied, using PA-6, PA-11, PA-12 samples as an example. RTL of polyamides is observed and recorded up to 450 K. High-temperature RTL in polyamides may be attributed to the presence of molecular groups, which are able to deeply stabilize the charges, which were formed at low-temperature radiolysis of the samples investigated, in their amorphous and crystalline phases
