Rare earth elements in human blood serum as determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry
Description
The multielement determination of all rare earth elements in human blood serum by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry has been studied, where the blood serum sample was digested with nitric acid and perchloric acid, and then rare earth elements were preconcentrated by using the chelating resin prior to the determination. It was found that the concentrations of rare earth elements in human blood serum were at the ppt (10-12 g/ml) level. (author)
