Jet conversion photons from an anisotropic quark-gluon-plasma

Description

The main goal of experiments which perform ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions is to produce and study the properties of a deconfined plasma of quarks and gluons. This new state of matter, called quark-gluon plasma is expected to be formed at temperature of the order of 170-200 MeV. Another most important task is to characterise different properties of this new state of matter, such as isotropization/thermalization
