Coupling, matching and tuning between resonant cavity and R.F. generator

Description
Coupling between resonant cavity and R.F. generator is an important subject for R.F. accelerators. The method given in the paper for calculating optimum coupling conditions based on numerical solution of electromagnetic field in resonant cavity is applicable to any axially symmetric cavity in principle. It is suitable to both beam-loaded and no beam-loaded conditions. Calculation results obtained through this method coincide well with measured data
