Description
Highlights: • The resolution of ZnO in ammonia is increased using hydrogen peroxide. • The as-prepared ZnO-AC demonstrated 99.99% reduction against E. Coli. with low levels of zinc concentration. • 100 g of the fabricated ZnO-AC can serve up to 500 L of water. • No zinc leaching is detected in the ZnO-AC processed water for safe use.
