Description

Results of studying radiation situation in Moscow and Moscow region attributed to 90Sr fallout after the Chernobyl NPP accident are described. Data on fallout density for β-decay and γ-emitting radionuclides, 90Sr fallout density, monthly averaged concentration of 90Sr in Moscow atmospheric air, 90Sr activity in milk and food products produced in Moscow region, as well as on 90Sr intake into organisms of Moscow and Moscow region inhabitants in 1985-1988 are given. The data on 90Sr fallout densities in 1960-1988 are given as well
