Description
A quasi-monokinetic triton beam of 107 particles per cycle and 3% momentum spread has been obtained by α-particle fragmentation. A possible extension of the method to exotic ions beams is briefly discussed, using recent high energy data about nuclear fragmentation of heavy ions. (orig.)
