Phonons in orthorhombic YBa2Cu3O7-δ monocrystals

Description
Raman scattering at phonons in YBa2Cu3O7-δ (δ≤0.2) orthorhombic monocrystals with 16O and 18O oxygen isotopes is investigated for light different polarizations. Isotopic shifts of phonon mode frequency at 18O substitution for 16O are determined. All permitted in RS phonon modes which belong to oxygen oscillations, as well as Ag-modes of heavy atom oscillations are classified. Number of oscillations which manifest themselves in RS spectra due to the occurrence of defects, is identified
