Description

Elementary reactions of hydride-ion transfer A+ + HB → AH + B+ between cations and molecules of lower hydrocarbons were studied at collision energies 1 - 3 eV in crossed beam scattering and D-atom labelling experiments. The reactant cations were CH3+(CD3+), C2H5+(C2D5+), C2H4+(C2D4+), and the reactant molecules were ethane and propane (C2H6; C3H8, CH3CD2CH3). (author)
