The spin structure in Dy/Y superlattices

Description
Two types of helical spin structures in hcp b-axis single-crystal Dy/Y superlattices and in Dy films are derived. They imply different extinction coefficients in the respective magnetic neutron scattering cross sections. Experiment confirms the existence of one of these structures. ((orig.))
