Multi-purpose linear discriminator
- 1. Gosudarstvennyj Komitet po Ispol'zovaniyu Atomnoj Ehnergii SSSR, Moscow
Description
A universal linear pulsed amplitude discriminator is described; the threshold range of 0-10 V is covered by stages of 0.1 V. The instability of the upper value of the threshold is approximately 10-1 deg C. The proper rise time is approximately 70 ns. The discriminating element consists of a semiconductor diode. The discriminator has a base level restorer. The possibility of integrating output signals is provided for. The discriminator can also be used as an integral discriminator, linear time gate, linear gating circuit and a coincidence-anticoincidence sampler. The unit can be switched on and off remotely with the aid of potential control signals. An external control of threshold setting is provided for
