Neutron diffraction study of YBa2Cu3O7-x compressibility under high pressures

Description
YBa2Cu3O7-x compressibility in (x=0.1) rhombic and (x=0.6) tetragonal phases under pressure up to 6.7 and 4.5GPa respectively is investigated using neutron diffraction method. No deviations from the structure initial symmetry are found within the pressure whole range for both rhombic and tetragonal phases. Linear dependence of lattice parameters on pressure is observed, while compressibility along C axis for both phases is higher, than that along A axis
