Visualization of two-phase flow inside metallic mini-tube using neutron image technique

Description

As part of basic research on the flow characteristics of a two-phase flow inside metallic mini-tube, the feasibility test was performed by using the neutron radiography technique. The thermal neutron radiography system of HANARO at Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute was used. From the neutron images, it is possible to visualize the 1/4' tube but, difficult to visualize the 1/8' and 1/16' tubes due to several reasons. As a result, it suggested the guide line for the visualization of mini-tube
