Fusion in the Grid
Description
In this paper, a report is given on the status of the fusion applications in grid infrastructures. Several pilot applications are already running and have produced relevant scientific results. Some notions on the role of computing science to solve the open problems that are remaining in Fusion and Plasma Physics are also given. Grid infrastructures together with supercomputers are the suitable tools for solving such problems depending on their structure. (Author)
