Hydrogen streamer chamber with laser registration

Description
Contrast laser shadowgrams of electron tracks in a hydrogen streamer chamber have been obtained under the conditions prohibiting the track visual observation (P = 1 atm, E O 30 kV/cm). Some effects characteristic for laser registration have been observed, such as localization of track elements in the electric field direction and closeness of values for the track element density and for primary specific ionization in the chamber gas.
