Description
High-purity vanadium single crystals, having resistivity ratios in the range 1 100-1 800, were compression tested at 295 K, 173 K and 77 K. Samples having orientations near the [011]-[1-11] tie line slip on expected planes. Samples having a central, or near [001] orientation slip on the anomalous (01-1) plane at lower temperatures.
