Description
Hyaluronic acid Sodium Chloride Solution of 0.5 g·(100 mL)-1 was irradiated by The electron beam, which weight, viscosity, pH value and oxidation resistance were measured before and after irradiation. The results showed that the molecular weight, the viscosity, pH value of hyaluronic acid were decreased with the increase of irradiation dose; scavenging effect of the hydroxyl free radical (·OH) and superoxide anion free radical (O2·-) were gradually weakened with the dose increasing; The DPPH free radical scavenging activity and reducing power were increased as the dose increasing; hyaluronic acid appearance quality did not change obviously before and after irradiation, which liquidity was enhanced. It has important significance to broaden the application fields of hyaluronic acid. (authors)
