Point defect concentrations near void in stressed metal under irradiation
Creators
Description
Point defect concentration profiles near the pores in metals, irradiated in the stressed state are calculated using numeric methods. It is shown, that external stress leads to a change in the interstitial atom and vacancy concentration distribution in the vicinity of the pores. External stress effect depends on the pore radius and is especially high for pores of minor radius
