Chemical composition of intergrowth boundary in heterogeneous structures

Description
Chemical (phase) composition of the intergrowth boundary in heterogeneous structures CdS-CdTe prepared in micaceous substrates in vacuum in the quasiclosed volume under residual pressure 3x10-3 Pa, temperatures from 100 to 750 deg and densities of incident vapour flux R+=1017-1018 cm-2·s-1 is studied. The presure of residual oxygen and water vapours is such a vacuum is about 10-4 Pa. The formation of solid solutions CdSxTe1-x is detected just in synthesis. In case of application of massive cadmium telluride as a substrate is x=0.6; in case of application of film substrate CdTe is 0.05≤x≤0.20
