Description

A consideration is given to some features of electric conductivity behaviour in chromium base alloys. It is shown that below the Neel temperature polarized impurity states arise on magnetic and nonmagnetic impurities. Conduction electrons are scattered on these states in a resonance manner. Essential difference in the processes of impurity resonance scattering is revealed for chromium alloys with commensurate and noncommensurate structures. The scattering mechanism is concluded to be responsible for low temperature anomalies of electric conductivity in binary Cr-Si and Cr-Fe alloys as well as in manganese and vanadium alloyed ternary chromium base alloys
