Study by on-line spectroscopy of the 187Au energy states: interpretation in terms of triaxial nuclear deformations

Description
The decay of 187Hg was studied using 'on-line' mass-separated sources. A decay scheme is proposed. The negative parity states are analysed within the 'quasi-particule + triaxial rotor' model of J. Meyer-ter-Vehn: it is found that the 11/2- state at 224 keV corresponds to a nuclear deformation β=0.14 and γ=350 and the 9/2- state at 120.6 keV to a deformation β=0.2 and γ=210. A systematic analysis of the heavier odd-mass gold isotopes is given in the framework of this model

On a etudie la desintegration de 187Hg en utilisant un separateur en ligne. On propose un schema de desintegration. On analyse les etats de parite negative dans le modele quasi-particule + rotor asymetrique' de J. Meyer-ter-Vehn: on montre que l'etat 11/2- a 224 keV correspond a une deformation nucleaire β=0,14 et γ=350 et l'etat 9/2- a 120,6 keV a une deformation β=0,2 et γ=210. On donne une analyse systematique des isotopes d'or de masse impaire plus lourds dans le cadre de ce modeleFiles
