Solubility of mixed-valent hydroxides of U(IV-VI) and Np(IV-V) in solutions of model ground water and in 0.1 mol/l NaClO4

Description
Kinetics of U(VI) accumulation in U(IV) hydroxide phase and Np(V) in Np(IV) hydroxide phase and solubility of forming mixed-valent hydroxides of U(IV-VI) and Np(IV-V) in solutions of ground water (pH 8.5) and 0.1 mol/l NaClO4 (pH 6.9) are studied. It is determined that structure of mixed-valent U(IV-VI) hydroxide does not effect on it solubility when U(VI) content is less than 16 %. Mixed-valent Np(IV-V) hydroxide, containing from 8 up to 90 % of Np(V), has specific structure which determines it properties
Abstract (Russian)
Изучена кинетика накопления U(IV) в фазе гидроксида U(IV) и Np(V) в фазе гидроксида Np(IV) и растворимость образующихся смешанно-валентных гидроксидов U(IV-VI) и Np(IV-V) в растворах модельной грунтовой воды (pH 8.5) и 0.1 моль/л NaClO4 (pH 6.9). Установлено, что структура смешанно-валентного гидроксида не влияет на его растворимость при условии, что содержание U(VI) не превышает 16 %. Смешанно-валентный гидроксид Np(IV-V), содержащий от 8 до 90 % Np(V), имеет специфическую структуру, которая определяет его свойстваAdditional details
