Next-to-leading-order calculation of the difference of the widths with respect to the decays K+→π+π+π- and K-→π-π-π+Caused by the Kobayashi-Maskawa mechanism of CP violation

Description

The statement existing in the literature that the CP-violating different ΔΓ of the widths with respect to the decays K+→π+π+π- and K-→π-π-π+ as calculated in the next-to-leading order of the momentum expansion of the amplitudes is much larger than that calculated in the leading order is studied within mesonic chiral theory. It is found that p4 corrections are indeed significant and increase ΔΓ by a factor of two but not by one to two orders of magnitude
