Measurement of charged fragment elliptic flow in collisions of relativistic nuclei with nuclei of photoemulsion

Description
The azimuthal anisotropy of charged fragments with Z ≥ 2 emitted in semicentral collisions of nuclei 22Ne, 24Mg, 32S, 56Fe, 197Au, and 207Pb with nuclei of photoemulsion at the impact parameters of 0.12 ≤ b/bmax ≤ 0.70 have been studied for the projectile energies in the range Epr = 1.88-200 GeV/nucleon. It has been found that at low projectile energies (up to ∼ 2 GeV/nucleon) the azimuthal anisotropy parameter for fragments with Z ≥ 2 is 6 ± 2 times larger than that for protons and is approximately the same at Epr ≥ 4 GeV/nucleon. Possible explanations of this observation are considered

Измерена азимутальная анизотропия испускания частиц с Z ≥ 2 при взаимодействии 22Ne, 24Mg, 32S, 56Fe, 197Au и 207Pb с ядрами фотоэмульсии в интервале энергий ядра-снаряда Epr = 1.88-200 ГэВ/нуклон для полуцентральных взаимодействий с прицельным параметром b в интервале 0.12 ≤ b/bmax ≤ 0.70. Найдено, что при низких энергиях Epr ≅ 2 ГэВ/нуклон отношение коэффициентов азимутальной анизотропии v2 для частиц с Z ≥ 2 и протонов равно 6 ± 2, а для Epr ≥ 4 ГэВ/нуклон эти коэффициенты совпадают.
