Phase equilibria in the system La2Se3-Sb2Se3
Description
Using the methods of physicochemical analysis the interaction of La2Se3 with Sb2Se3 is studied. Phase diagram of the system La2Se3 - Sb2Se3 is plotted. It is ascertained that formation of lanthanum selenostibnites La8Sb2Se15 (1), LaSbSe3 (2), and LaSb3Se6 (3) proceeds via peritectic reactions. Compound 1 is crystallized in tetragonal crystal system, while compounds 2 and 3 - in the orthorhombic one, with unit cell parameters: a = 15.99, c = 20.44; a = 11.64, b 11.82, c = 3.98; a = 4.84, b = 12.18, c = 21.60 A respectively
