Description

The dosimetric properties of TL peaks obtained with α-Al2O3 at 113 and 238K by a photo-induced procedure are described. It is seen that the TL response is linear for X ray air kerma from 0.02 to 30 Gy. The phenomenon involved occurs for UV wavelengths between 250 and 450 nm. The samples must be protected from the ambient light to prevent optical fading. (author)
